Day 118 – Charlestown

Zind-Humbrecht Muscat Goldert 2017

I’m not quite sure how the cellar logistics foul-up occurred, but I seem to have ended up with two Goldert bottles back-to-back. The Zind style is dryer than Burn, and I can understand some people preferring that. Sometimes I might myself. But the rich lusciousness is still there, just with markedly more acidity added as well. This is gorgeous stuff, but Zind doesn’t come cheap – there’s a 50%-ish premium to pay over a similar Burn.
